A'ja Wilson's layup gave the Aces a one-point lead with 3.2 seconds remaining, but Chicago had the final say. Sydney Taylor knocked down the go-ahead 3-pointer with less than a second left to help Chicago snap its seven-game skid against Las Vegas.
Wilson powered the offense with 36 points, adding 12 rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots. Jackie Young put up 18 points along with 11 assists, while NaLyssa Smith added 17 points and six boards, providing the team with a serious triple threat, albeit in a losing effort.
Atlanta seeks its sixth straight win after a strong showing against the Storm
On the other side, the Dream have won each of their last five games. This stretch includes a 98-89 victory over the Seattle Storm on Friday night.
Atlanta held a 14-point advantage at intermission before the Storm rallied to cut the deficit in half by the end of the third quarter. But the Dream saved the best for last, putting up 32 points in the final frame to hold on for a nine-point win.
