Despite sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference standings in the MLS, there will be pressure on Nashville to bounce back to form this weekend.
The Coyotes have failed to win in their last three in all competitions, with their Leagues Cup opening loss against Leon meaning that this week’s showdown with San Luis is a must-win encounter. Nashville failed to create chances in that loss, despite having 52% of the ball.
They were ultimately made to pay after failing to create, as the Mexican side scored the eventual winner with just ten minutes of the 90 remaining. Sam Surridge is expected to be recalled after being rested in the midweek defeat.

It has been a disappointing start to the season for San Luis, as they have failed to win in their opening four matches in all competitions.

Despite taking the lead in the fixture, San Luis were consistently weak in the transitions, as they got hit on the counterattack on multiple occasions by Inter.
