Whites Enjoying Strong Starts After Big Summer Spending

Daniel Farke’s Leeds United have made an excellent start to the new season, recording successive wins in the EPL and EFL Cup against Nottingham Forest. Defensive strength has been a key factor in their game, keeping back-to-back clean sheets.

Any danger of a drop off in Keith Andrews’ second season at Brentford look to have been addressed in the opening seven days of the season, as the Bees look incredibly efficient at both ends of the field.

Brentford have won back-to-back games in the league and cup, scoring a remarkable nine goals in victories over Tottenham and Birmingham City. Igor Thiago got his first competitive goal of the campaign against the latter, while Bees fans are incredibly excited about the arrival of combative midfielder Mamadou Sangare.

The midfielder registered one assist against Tottenham last Saturday and he was a key player in the middle of the park in terms of breaking up the play up.
