Greg Vanney’s LA Galaxy will be on the comeback trail this weekend, as they bid to snap a four-game winless run. Plenty of positives can be drawn from their recent outing, as the Galaxy fought to a 1-1 away draw against the San Jose Earthquakes.
The Galaxy have been consistent in home matches this season, avoiding defeat in five of their nine encounters, and scoring 1.22 goals per game.
Gabriel Chaves and Joao Klauss have been in red-hot form at the start of the season, netting a combined total of ten goals. Marco Reus has also been influential in the final third with six assists.

FC Dallas have largely been consistent throughout the MLS season, and they come into this round sitting sixth in the Western Conference standings. However, a return to form will be required after a disappointing 1-0 road loss against San Diego FC last weekend.
That defeat ended a three-game unbeaten run, but it is worth noting that Dallas have recorded victories in four of their last seven. But, they have been slightly weaker on their travels, losing three of their eight encounters.
Defensive improvement will be required to enhance their playoff aspirations, as Dallas have failed to keep clean sheets in 82% of their MLS fixtures in 2026.
The Galaxy boast a dominant home record against FC Dallas, winning 20 of the previous 32 encounters between the clubs at the Dignity Health Sports Park. That trend could be worth siding with when making MLS picks for the matchup on Saturday.
