It has been a memorable run of results for the San Jose Sharks, as they have won their last four to take their overall record this term to 8-6-3.
It has been a challenging period for the Kraken, as they have suffered three regulation-time defeats across their last ten.
Seattle remain fourth in the Pacific Division standings, but their poor form has been reflected after suffering defeats in each of their last two.
Their latest loss was suffered via a shootout at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Offensively, the Kraken have been tame in recent games, scoring just twice in their last two games.
It has been an excellent period in the NHL for the San Jose Sharks. They come into this weekend as the in-form team in the Western Conference, having won each of their last four.
That positive run of form is reflected after going 7-2-1 across their last ten. Despite a poor start to the season, they are well within reach of the playoff spots at this stage.
San Jose's latest win was achieved earlier this week after beating the Minnesota Wild in overtime.
