The Flames sit bottom of the Pacific Division, and they have gone 3-6-1 across their last ten. They will be outsiders to end their three-game losing streak on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Sharks have shown excellent character in recent weeks, winning seven of their last ten, which includes a run of four successive victories.
The Calgary Flames have endured a challenging start to the 2025-26 NHL season, and that is reflected by their position at the bottom of the Pacific Division standings.
They come into this round having gone 4-12-2 this term, and they have suffered six regulation-time losses in their last ten.
A third straight loss was inflicted in their latest outing after losing 3-2 on the road against the St. Louis Blues.
Compared to their opponents this week, it has been a contrasting period of form for the San Jose Sharks.
They have claimed victories in eight of their 17 games and in seven of their last 10. The Sharks have also won each of their last four, which marks the best winning sequence of any team in the Western Conference.
