The NHL continues to come thick and fast this week, as the New York Islanders continue their trip on the road when they travel to the Utah Mammoth. Find our picks here.
The Mammoth should come into this round in solid form after winning half of their last ten games. They have also been one of the best offensive teams in the Western Conference so far this term.
It will be a busy end to the week for the Islanders as they face the Golden Knights and Mammoth on successive nights. However, they have momentum on their side after winning their last two.
The Utah Mammoth have enjoyed a consistent start to the new campaign, and positives will be taken from the fact that they sit fourth in the Central Division.
Their recent form is also a major advantage, as they have recorded victories in five of their last ten.
Meanwhile, they come into this game following an excellent 5-2 home win over the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday. Clayton Keller, JJ Peterka, and Nick Schmaltz all scored efforts in that recent success.
The New York Islanders may be fatigued at the end of the week, as they come up against the Mammoth just a day after a visit to Vegas.
It will also be their second game in a four-day period. However, their overall form this season has been encouraging, going 8-6-2 in their opening 16 games.
Meanwhile, they have recorded victories in five of their last ten, which includes victories in each of their previous two. New York were last in action on Monday, beating the New Jersey Devils in overtime.
