The Golden Knights have dropped down the standings at an alarming rate in recent weeks, having won just four of their last ten and losing each of their previous three.
Meanwhile, the Blues have also underperformed so far this season, winning just six of their 17 matches. But, can they bounce back to form on Saturday?
The St. Louis Blues have endured a challenging start to the NHL season, going 6-8-3 across their opening 17 games.
That run of form leaves them sitting second bottom in the Central Division standings.
Meanwhile, they have won just three of their last ten, losing five times in regulation time across the same period. However, confidence would have been gained from their latest outing after picking up a win over the Calgary Flames.
It has been a testing period for the Vegas Golden Knights, as they have dropped to sixth in the Pacific Division after losing six of their last ten outright.
Across that period, four defeats have been suffered in regulation time. The Golden Knights have continued to underperform in recent weeks, losing each of their last three.
Offensively, there will be questions to answer, as they have scored the third-fewest goals in the Division at this stage.
