The Buccaneers and Bills meet this week in a battle between likely playoff teams. Despite holding a combined record of 12-6, both teams lost last week and will be looking for a bounce back win.

The Buccaneers maintained their 1.5 game lead over the NFC South, despite their loss, thanks to losses by the Panthers and Falcons. The defeat marked their second of the past three weeks for an otherwise very consistent Bucs team. Tampa Bay enters this game in Buffalo seeking a bounce back win to take one step closer to the postseason. They continue to wait for the returns of RB Bucky Irving and WR Chris Godwin.

The Bills have been far more inconsistent this season than prior years, made even more clear by their 30-13 loss to Miami following a win against the Chiefs last week. Buffalo is now 2-3 since starting the season 4-0 and continues to fall further behind the Patriots in the AFC East divisional race. Sunday's loss was by far their worst of the season, increasing the need to bounce back this week to regain some momentum.

The Buccaneers and Bills are both on pace to make the postseason, but neither can let up as their recent troubles have open the door for competitors to swoop in. Buffalo already lost their division lead, while Tampa Bay precariously holds onto theirs. The Bills are 4-1 at home which gives them an advantage, but I'd be wary of betting on them to win by 6+. Tampa Bay has been more consistent and should cover here.
