One of the games on Friday's NBA slate features the Orlando Magic hosting the Brooklyn Nets. Who has the edge in our Magic vs Nets pick?
After a 1 -4 start, Orlando has bounced back with five wins in their last seven outings. This includes a 124-107 win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.
The Magic jumped out to a 20-point lead at the break. And although the second half was somewhat more competitive, it wasn't enough to prevent Orlando from handing the Knicks their first home loss of the season.
Franz Wagner was one of six players in double figures. He led the way with 28 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Desmond Bane added 22 points, eight assists, and six rebounds on 7-for-15 shooting from the floor.
Following a 112-103 win over the Pacers nine days ago, the Nets have dropped their last three contests, including a 119-109 setback against the Toronto Raptors.
Brooklyn trailed by as many as 14 points in the third quarter, but managed to get within six in the final frame. However, a three-pointer from Immanuel Quickley ignited a 7-0 run, to give the Raptors a 13-point lead (102-89) it would not relinquish.
Nic Claxton tied for team-high scoring honors with 21 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Michael Porter Jr. also put up 21 points, along with six boards, and three dimes.

Orlando holds a 7-3 edge in the previous 10 meetings in this series. Additionally, Brooklyn has dropped five of its last six road contests. Given the trends, look for Orlando to come away with the win.
