DATE & TIME
New York, NY
Knicks Look To Bounce Back From First Home Loss
New York saw its five game win streak end with a 124-107 loss to the Orlando Magic.
The Knicks produced just 42 points in the first half and trailed by 20 points at intermission. And although their offensive output was better after the break, it wasn't enough to prevent the Magic from rolling to a 17-point victory.
Four players reached double figures for New York. Jalen Brunson paced the offense with 31 points, six assists, and three rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns registered 15 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.
Miami Looks To Rebound From Double-Digit Loss To Cavaliers
The Heat saw their three-game win streak end with a 130-116 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
Miami led by nine points after the opening stanza and by as many as 14 in the third quarter. Unfortunately, the Cavaliers flipped the double-digit deficit into a 99-98 lead at the 10:03 mark in the fourth quarter. Cleveland never trailed after that.
The Heat's offense featured five double-digit scorers. Norman Powell was the top performer, finishing with 27 points, five assists, and two rebounds. He also shot 5-for-10 from 3-point range. Davion Mitchell contributed 16 points, four assists, and connected on seven of his 13 shot attempts.
Knicks vs Heat NBA Pick
Here's a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this contest.
- The Knicks are 5-1 straight-up (SU) in their six games.
- New York is also 5-1 ATS in its previous six outings.
- The Heat are 4-2 in their last six contests.
- Miami is 8-4 ATS in its previous 12 matchups.
New York has won six of the previous 10 meetings between these ball clubs. However, because Jalen Brunson will be out of the rotation due to an ankle injury he sustained in the loss to Orlando, the Heat could very well come out on top in this Eastern Conference showdown.
