Cleveland was without Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen. Despite their absences, they trailed by just four points late in the fourth quarter. However, a pair of 3-pointers from Toronto's Jamison Battle enabled to road team to pull away for a 112-101 victory.
Evan Mobley scored a team-high 29 points, along with eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals. De'Andre Hunter added 26 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
After dropping back-to-back games against OKC and Chicago, the Hawks enter this matchup amid a two-game win streak, including a 128-108 win against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.
Atlanta, who led by four points at intermission, broke the game open with a 34-17 scoring advantage in the third quarter en route to its second straight win. The Hawks' offense featured a scoring attack in which seven players reached double figures.
Jalen Johnson put up 22 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and had two steals. Nickeil Alexander-Walker finished with 21 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals on 8-for-14 shooting from the floor.
