The Bucks held an eight-point at the break and led by five points entering the fourth quarter. But with the Wizards already ahead 124-123, CJ McCollum hit a step-back 3-pointer, giving Washington a 127-123 advantage.
A dunk by Bilal Coulibaly extended the lead to six points, allowing just enough separation for the Wizards to get their third win of the season.
Kevin Porter Jr. led the Bucks with 30 points, five assists, four rebounds, and three steals. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 26 points, seven boards, and four dimes.
Detroit Seeking Its Third Straight Win
Following back-to-back losses to Boston and Orlando, the Pistons enter this game amid a two-game win streak. This includes a 99-98 victory against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Pistons led 95-89 before Atlanta hit back-to-back 3-pointers to tie the game at 95. After Nickeil Alexander-Walker hit a three-pointer to get the Hawks within 99-98, Jalen Johnson's tip attempt at the buzzer was off the mark, securing the win for the home team.
Jalen Duren guided the offense with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Cade Cunningham registered 18 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.
Bucks vs Pistons NBA Pick
Here's a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this contest.
- The Bucks are 1-8 straight-up (SU) in their last nine games.
- Milwaukee is 2-7 ATS in its previous nine outings.
- The Pistons are 15-2 in their last 17 contests.
- Detroit is 1-4 ATS in its previous five matchups.
True, Milwaukee has dominated the series, winning 13 of the previous 14 meetings. But given the Bucks' struggles this season and the fact that the Pistons are 12-2 in their last 14 outings against Eastern Conference opponents, the edge goes to the guys from the Motor City.
