The penultimate individual event on the LIV Golf League schedule for 2026 is set for this weekend, as Trump National Golf Club Bedminster hosts LIV Golf New York. LIV Golf action is set for this week, despite the uncertainty surrounding the long-term future of the Saudi Arabia-funded Tour. All eyes will be on Trump National Golf Club Bedminster this week, as the players compete for a share of the $20 million purse in LIV Golf New York.
Jon Rahm will be a clear favorite for success this weekend, as the Spanish star bids to extend his advantage at the top of the standings. Rahm endured a weekend to forget at LIV UK last time out, finishing T23 overall. However, his overall form in 2026 remains strong, meaning that he can’t be taken lightly.
Lucas Herbert was outstanding in the latest event, finishing 30-under to win LIV Golf UK in striking fashion. The Australian’s form is extremely reliable, having also finished T6 at The Open Championship last month. Tyrrell Hatton settled for a runner-up finish last time out, meaning that he has finished in the top two places in the last two events on the Tour.
Bryson DeChambeau is the closest challenger to Rahm at the top of the leaderboard following a third-place finish at LIV Golf UK. Cameron Smith has also returned to form in recent outings, taking fourth last time out to ensure that he has finished in the top five in the last LIV Golf events.
Abraham Ancer could be a value play when making LIV Golf New York picks. The Mexican finished T5 in the UK last time out, meaning that he has now achieved top-five finishes in the last two events.
