Boxing action returns to Saudi Arabia on July 25, as Anthony Joshua makes his long-awaited return to the ring. It will be the first time that AJ has been in action since losing two of his friends in a devastating crash in Nigeria, but he has vowed to continue fighting in their honor.

Joshua hasn’t been in the ring since his straightforward KO success against YouTuber Jake Paul in December 2025. However, his most recent serious fight ended in a brutal fifth-round KO loss against Daniel Dubois in September 2024. Joshua’s record remains strong, winning 29 of his 33 professional bouts, and a victory in this bout will set up a money-spinning showdown with Tyson Fury.

However, Kristian Prenga shouldn’t be overlooked, having amassed an impressive professional record. The Albanian has won 20 of his 21 bouts, scoring all of his victories inside the 12 rounds via KO.

Prenga is unbeaten in the ring since 2017, winning earlier this year against Joe Jones inside the opening two minutes. His knockout power will be a concern for Joshua, especially given the Brit’s recent weak record of being dropped.
