Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili highlight the next UFC event on Saturday, March 11. The two bantamweights clash in the event that could bring out the next title challenger.

Before Betting on Yan vs. Dvalishvilli

The Russian lost his title to Aljamain Sterlin due to an illegal knee to the head, and since then can’t find his rhythm. Yan was better than Cory SAndhagen following that bout before losing two events via split decision to Sterling once again and Sean O’Malley.

In both cases, most fans admit that the scoring judges robbed the Russian. Yan is by far the complete fighter in the division, whose skills in all areas (particularly Muay Thai) are fantastic.

Merab Dvalishvili, called the Machine, has been on the rise in recent times. The Georgian star posted eight victories in a row, and is in the best shape of all the bantamweights, per many analysts.

He isn’t as versatile as Yan, but that’s why his wrestling is maybe the best in the division. An extremely strong physique combined with excellent cardio brought Dvalishvili here, and it is almost certain that if he defeats Yan, the next stop for the 32-year-old would be the title shot.

Yan’s experience is vital here, and he has more of it than Dvalishvili. He knows how to fight elite wrestlers and should be able to restrain the Georgian and take this battle.
