The NFL postseason is finally here and this week we are right smack in the midst of Wild Card Weekend.  We will highlight each game this weekend and break down a few plays to consider for the Wild Card Weekend.

Tennessee Titans vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The first game on Wild Card Weekend will be the Tennessee Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs.  The Titans earned the 5th spot in the postseason by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday 15-10.  They ended their season 9-7, which was one game behind the AFC South winning Jacksonville Jaguars.  The Titans have played on Wild Card weekend 12 times and have a 7-5 record in those games.    

The Chiefs won the AFC West and finished the season by winning 27-24 over the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs closed out the regular season by winning their last 4 games of the year.   The Chiefs have played on Wild Card weekend 10 times and have a 3-7 record during those games.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the favorite in this game with the line running anywhere between -7.5 to -8.5.  The total for the over/under line is currently set between 44 and 44.5.  

Atlanta Falcons vs. LA Rams

The second game on Saturday will feature the Atlanta Falcons and the LA Rams.  The Falcons made the playoffs as the 6th seed and the final Wild Card spot.  Atlanta ended the regular season with a 10-6 record and won 3 of their last 4 games overall. The Falcons have played in Wild Card weekend 7 times and are 3-4 in those games.  

The Rams are one of the biggest headline stories of the year going from a 4-12 record in 2016 to making the playoffs under head coach Sean McVay with a 11-5 record. The Rams won the NFC West Title and will be playing in the playoffs for the first time since the 2004 playoffs.  The Rams have played on Wild Card weekend 8 times and have gone 3-5 in those games.  

Oddsmakers have made the LA Rams the favorite here by 6 to 6.5 points.  The line for the over/under in this game is set at 48 points.  

Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Buffalo Bills are headed to Wild Card weekend and to the playoffs for the first time since 1999!  They won their game on Sunday, on the road against the Miami Dolphins by the score 22-16 and with the Cincinnati Bengals beating the Baltimore Ravens, sent the Bills back to the playoffs.  The Bills have appeared in Wild Card weekend 6 times and have a 3-3 record in those games.  

The Jacksonville Jaguars will be playing in the playoffs for the first time since 2007. They have appeared in Wild Card weekend 5 times and are 3-2 in those games.  The Jags ended the regular season by winning the AFC South by one game over the Tennessee Titans.  They have the 2nd best defense in the NFL and have the 6th best offense in the NFL.  The Jags have lost 2 games straight against Tennessee and San Francisco.   

The line in this game is ranging between Jacksonville -7.5 and 8 points.  The total for the over/under is set anywhere between 48 and 48.5 points.

Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints

The final game on Wild Card Weekend will feature two teams from the NFC South as the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints face off for the third time this year.   New Orleans won both of the regular season matchups by the scores of 34-13 and 31-21. The Saints are coming into this game off a 31-24 loss to finish up the regular season.  They ended the year with a 11-5 record and have the 2nd ranked offense in the NFL. New Orleans has appeared on Wild Card Weekend 8 times and have a 3-5 record in those games.

The Carolina Panthers won 3 out of the last 4 games of the regular season to make the postseason. They lost the final game of the regular season to the Atlanta Falcons 22-10. One thing to keep in mind while making your wagers this week is the fact that the Carolina Panthers have played on Wild Card weekend 3 times and won all 3 times!   

The linemakers have made the Saints the favorite in this game with the line anywhere between New Orleans -6 to -6.5.  The total in this game is set at 48.5 across the board.
