Virginia Tech aims for the season sweep of Duke when the two teams meet up on Saturday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Hokies’ 78-75 win last month was their third in the last four head to head with the Blue Devils team that has gone 6-2 since their previous meeting with VT. Duke is right around a 7-point favorite in this matchup.

Before Betting on Virginia Tech vs Duke

Virginia Tech has beaten Duke this season, but they’ve got their work cut out for them on the road considering the Blue Devils are 14-0 at home this season. Duke has won three in a row and seems to be finding their stride under first year coach Jon Scheyer and a very young team overall.

One of those young players who Virginia Tech will have a hard time matching up against here is 7-footer Kyle Filipowski who leads Duke with 15.0 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Filipowski was dominant in the first meeting with 29 points and 10 rebounds.

Duke has won six of their last eight, so they have more momentum than a Virginia Tech club that has alternated wins and losses over their last eight games. That trend would have them in line for a win here considering they just lost 76-70 at home to Miami on Tuesday but that would also require handing Duke their first home defeat of the season.
