  • Barcelona is in Istanbul against Galatasaray.
  • Feyenoord hosts Partizan in Rotterdam.

There will be plenty of interesting games on Thursday night, and we are here to make a few picks, that is, choose the safest and present them to you.

West Ham vs. Sevilla

The Hammers have to erase the deficit from the first leg, which they lost in Spain 1-0. Yet, that will be hard without Bowen and against the Rojoblancos, who are very nasty once protecting the lead. The Spaniards are tactically one very good unit, with lots of experienced and calm players.

For sure, they are coming to London to slow down the tempo of the event and stall as much as possible, which is why we pick under 2.5 goals in this case here.

Pick: Under 2.5 goals

Bayer Leverkusen vs. Atalanta

The Italians won the opening leg, 3-2, but to be pretty clear, it could have ended differently, and it wouldn’t be unfair. The Germans were good, and with a little more luck, they could have been the winners.

We won’t analyze which team is better, but recommend betting on high efficiency and goals. Three or more goals here are guaranteed, and that’s because of an offensive-minded approach that comes from both ends. Simply, both Leverkusen and Atalanta don’t know to play differently. The attack is the only way they know to perform.

Pick: Over 2.5 goals

Galatasaray vs Barcelona

A goalless draw at Camp Nou was without a doubt the biggest surprise of the entire round. Blaugrana didn’t know how to hit the back of the rival’s net, and it seems that they underestimated Galata. Also, for the moment, Xavi’s guys are under pressure when playing in front of their fans, and that is obvious.

That’s why we think that a replay of the previous round and their matchup with Napoli is more than certain. Back then, they played 1-1 in Spain but demolished the Italians on the road, 2-4. We saw them light, easy, and laser-precise at San Paolo, killing the morale of the hosts pretty swiftly. Our pick for Thursday’s clash is Barcelona to win and cover a -1.5-goal spread.

Pick: Barcelona -1.5

Feyenoord vs. Partizan

The Dutch powerhouse was cruel in Belgrade, packing five goals in Partizan’s net, and missing a chance to score at least three more. Interestingly, the hosts were leading twice, but Feyenoord began pounding the Serbian team ruthlessly after finding the weak spots.

Overall, the difference in quality between these two crews is massive, and the Dutch club won’t have any problems in routinely beating the Serbs once again. That is why we suggest betting on them to cover -1.5-goal spread or on Feyenoord scoring in both halves. Don’t be surprised if they once again deliver five hits, because Partizan’s defense is falling apart, and overall, the atmosphere in the team is very, very bad.

Pick: Feyenoord -1.5
