The battle for the seventh spot in the West takes place in Los Angeles, where the Lakers host the Timberwolves.

Before Betting on the Timberwolves vs. Lakers

Even though the Minnesota Timberwolves have won the previous three events, things are not looking good in Minneapolis. During the game against the Pels, Rudy Gobert tried to smack his Kyle Anderson, leading to the Frenchman’s ejection at halftime. As a result, Gobert won’ play in Los Angeles.

All eyes will be on Anthony Edwards now. The Antman, who just stepped into his 20s, is a top 10 shooting guard in the NBA, averaging 24.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game.

The LA Lakers are in great shape heading into the play-in tournament, having won six of the previous seven events. Although LeBron James has returned, credit for the team’s recent success should go to the fantastic center Anthony Davis, who has been unstoppable lately.

The Lakers’ offensive machinery is revving up, and Overs in eight of their last events are proof of that. The purple and gold like to play offensive-minded basketball, and when Davis performs at his recent level, they could be lethal for any team in the league.

Minnesota’s form may be on the rise, but on the other side, the Lakers have been playing good basketball recently, and they have the home-court edge, which is enough for us to pick them over the guests.
