The divisional contest between two of the top favorites for winning AFC South promises an excellent fight. Both Titans and Colts come into this event with a desire to defeat the biggest rivals and gain an edge in the playoff battle. Titans Bounce Back Against Chicago

Mike Vrabel and his crew did a very good job against the Bears, beating the team from the Windy City, 24-17, restraining Nick Foles throughout the entire game, and not allowing them to find a rhythm that might create some problems for Tennessee.

Even though Titans had twice as fewer first downs, and they would create a 24-3 lead at one moment, before slowing down in the end, releasing the grip.

As usual, their biggest strength was efficiency. Ryan Tannehill threw just 158 yards, with 10 completions, but two of them were for touchdowns. AJ Brown caught 101 yards, while Derrick Henry rushed just for 68 on 21 carries.

Following two losses in a row, both against the AFC North teams (Bengals and the Steelers), this win would come quite handy for Tennessee to boost its morale.

Colts Ahead of the Ultimate Test

We all think that Indianapolis has the quality to reach the playoffs and not only that, but to make a deep postseason run. However, there is a question mark hanging above their heads whether they know how to use that quality to win games.

The Colts are 5-3 right now, and they lost the most recent match against the Ravens at home, 24-10, pretty easily. It was the match that many expected, not only because of the opponent, but also to see where Indianapolis stands at the moment. And the results aren’t that satisfying.

If they manage to beat the Titans, that would be a massive boost of morale for Rivers and the boys, and it would show everyone that they aren’t just a good team, but much more than that. They would need to former LA Chargers QB at the highest possible level, in order to do that, much better than against the Ravens. Back then, Rivers had zero touchdowns and an interception with 227 yards.

Head to Head Matches

Both sides got a win on the road during the previous campaign. At first, the Colts were better 19-17, but the Titans responded with a 31-17 triumph later on.

Prediction

The over/under limit here is 49 points, and we believe that it is too much. Both Frank Reich and Mike Vrabel will most definitely use running backs a lot, which eats time. Expect also hard defenses, on both sides, because No.1 place in the division is at stake.
