Before Betting on UFC 275: Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka

Two days after turning 42, Glover Teixeira became the oldest first-time champion in the history of the UFC. He won the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship by defeating favored Jan Blachowicz, who was a -303 pre-fight favorite.

Fast-forward to Saturday, June 11, and Teixeira is defending his championship belt for the first time ever. Once again, he’s seen as the underdog in the title fight. This time, the reason is that he’s locking horns with former Rizin champ Jiri Prochazka who is without a single loss since 2015.

Truth be told, Prochazka doesn’t have as much experience as Teixeira, especially not when it comes to the UFC. In fact, the undefeated Czech has only fought two fights in Dana White’s promotion. However, he won both of those. And he did it by knockout each time, earning himself two Performance of the Night bonuses along the way.

No surprise there really as he’s a true knockout expert, who’s won 25 of his 28 winning bouts by either knockout or technical knockout. It’s very likely the same is going to happen in Singapore.
