Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets lost the edge in the series against the Phoenix Suns, and the series is now tied at two apiece. Though, they are going back to Mile High.

Before Betting on Suns vs. Nuggets Game 5

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant clicked instantly, showing they could lead the Suns without Chris Paul. These two guys have been demolishing the Nuggets in the past two contests with a little help from their role players.

In Game 4, they had 36 points each, while Landry Shamet added 19 off the bench, more than the entire Nuggets’ reserves squad. Phoenix scored 13 threes, while Denver had only seven, which eventually resulted in a 129-124 win for the hosts.

The difference was also the fact that the Nuggets don’t have two, but only one superstar and that is Jokic, who scored 53 points, 20-for-30 from the field, with 11 assists. Now, Jamal Murray did deliver 28 points, but overall looking, he wasn’t contributing as expected.

Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon had 11 each, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 10. The Nuggets were outrebounded once again 32 to 39. Also, the previously mentioned bench had 11 points combined.

The Phoenix Suns won their games at home, but after a lot of battle, and due to some mistakes made on the other side. Things will be different in Denver, where the Nuggets deliver performances on a completely different level, so they seem much closer to a victory.
