After three years, Henry Cejudo returns to the octagon, this time to battle for the bantamweight title against the reigning champion, Aljamain Sterlin.

Before betting on Sterling vs. Cejudo

Triple C is one of four UFC champ-champs, who simultaneously held two belts at the time. His record in the UFC is ten wins and two losses, and he defeated some big names during his stint in the MMA – Demetrious Johnson, Sergio Pettis, TJ Dillashaw, Marlon Moraes, and Dominick Cruz.

He is the former freestyle wrestling Olympic gold medalist. Cejudo may be the organization’s top wrestler, and his explosiveness and power on the mat were unmatched. Still, he was out for three years and had no fights, which could be a problem.

Aljamain Sterling is a controversial champion, the one that many fans tend to acknowledge as one. He got the belt with Petr Yan being disqualified and, after that, defended the same via a split decision in a battle in which he avoided fighting. He would then beat injured TJ Dillashaw, whose one arm was useless in the octagon.

Sterling is a dominant wrestler and grappler with an enormous size for the bantamweight division, which helps him overcome his rivals. Sterling is a mediocre hitter and tends to finish all his business on the mat.

Cejudo is stronger than Sterling, who is much bigger than him. Though, given the fact that Aljo isn’t the striker who can do damage, we believe that the battle would go down to the mat, where Cejudo has the upper edge. He should win this one.
