The AFC North matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns is on the menu this Thursday night.

Before Betting on Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns

The Steelers lost TJ Watt in the opener against the Bengals, and that was immediately felt in the very next game. New England visited Pittsburgh and got back home with a win, mostly because the hosts didn’t adapt to the new circumstances in the defense.

Watt is the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and even though the Steelers’ defensive unit is among the best in the league, not having TJ is a massive handicap. Mitch Trubisky is mediocre for the moment with two touchdown passes and one pick, having only 362 passing yards.

The Browns also have an even record after two rounds. After beating Carolina Panthers on the road, 26-24, they allowed Joe Flacco and the Jets to make a big surprise in Ohio, and win 31-30. the Browns wasted a huge lead coming into the final period, which led to a shocking loss.

Their QB is mediocre as well, with Jacoby Brissett having the same stats as Trubisky, two TDs, and one pick. But the Browns have arguably the best running back in the league, Nick Chubb, who already has 228 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

This could turn out to be an offensive slugfest, with both teams having QBs who aren’t anywhere near the average starter in that position. The line for Over/Under is at 38.5 points, and we pick under.
