Group C comes to a close at the World Cup on Wednesday, and both Saudi Arabia and Mexico could yet make it out of this very competitive group. Saudi Arabia will be aware that a victory for them would be good enough, while Mexico will need to win and hope that Argentina lose their final game.

Before Betting On Saudi Arabia vs Mexico

Saudi Arabia has been one of the stories of the World Cup in Qatar this year. The nation sprung the biggest surprise in the history of the competition in their opening match, as they stunned Lionel Messi and Argentina to claim a 2-1 win. However, their big opportunity to make the round of 16 could have passed them by, as they fell to a defeat against Poland in their second fixture.

Still, there is a chance that they could reach the knockout round. However, in order to finish in one of the top two spots, they will need to claim victory in this final fixture. Saudi Arabia stand an excellent chance if they play at the same intensity as they did in their opening match against Argentina.

Mexico has been one of the nations that has flattered to deceive at the world Cup this year, as they are yet to score in their two opening fixtures. However, they could yet make it out of Group C. In order for Mexico to qualify, they must win, and hope that Poland can get a victory against Argentina.

This will be another big fixture for Mexico, but they have made a habit of reaching the knockout round throughout their history in the World Cup. But, this looks a tall order for the Mexicans in Qatar.
