There are huge games at the top and bottom of the Premier League this weekend. The game of the weekend comes from the Etihad, as Manchester City host Tottenham, while a huge showdown between Manchester United and Leeds United is set for Elland Road on Sunday. But, what are the best soccer bets to make for the action this weekend?

Victories For Champions League Chasers

We will start our look at the weekend action with Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur. The hosts are cruising along at the top of the Premier League, but their advantage could be cut to six points before their game against Spurs. City have an excellent record against Spurs, as they have lost just once in their previous eleven home meetings.

They have won eight times in the previous eleven fixtures at the Etihad. Tottenham wins against City have been evident in the past couple of years, but their last three wins have come in North London. City are just too strong for Spurs this weekend. They have won 43 points from the last 45 available, and we would be most interested in the handicap market. City (-2) at +187 would be our pick.

Chelsea have an interesting looking fixture on the road against Crystal Palace on Saturday, as the Blues look to get back to winning ways on their return to domestic action. The Blues have won 76% of the fixtures that they have played against Palace, and their chances of victories are improved by the fact that Palace have won just once of their last 16 London derbies. Chelsea at -154 look to be the best bet.

Relegation Points Up For Grabs

One of the most interesting fixtures this weekend is the first game of the weekend. West Ham United will be looking to move back into the top four with a victory against in-form Newcastle. The Toon have won their last three games in the Premier League to move out of the bottom three. They have won their last two league games at the London Stadium, but they have never previously won three straight games on the road against the Hammers.

We like the chances of the draw this weekend. The Hammers have scored at least once in their last 12 home matches this term, while Newcastle have the perfect forward line to play a counter-attacking style at the London Stadium. Both teams to score is available at -134.

Leeds United are still far from safe in the Premier League this term. They host their fierce rivals Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon. The Whites have beaten United just once in the last 16 meetings. The Red Devils claimed a 5-1 victory on the opening day, and will be looking for a first league double over Leeds since the 1999-2000 season.

United should be in good confidence after a win over Brighton in midweek to move back up to fourth. Goals are certainly everywhere you look in this United side, and Leeds have conceded the second-most in the league this term. United to claim the points at -118 would be our pick here.

Premier League Matchday 26 Picks:

  • Manchester City (-2) @ +187
  • Chelsea @ -154
  • West Ham vs Newcastle BTTS @ -134
  • Manchester United @ -118
