The Arizona Wildcats (19-3) are up to #5 in the country and poised to make a deep run in March. The Wildcats are 8-3 in the conference, a game back from UCLA, and they have a chance to avenge one of those defeats Thursday night at home against the Oregon Ducks (13-9). The Ducks pulled off an 87-68 win over Arizona on January 14th as +4 point underdogs.

Before Betting on Oregon vs Arizona

Arizona has won four straight since the loss in Eugene, most recently picking up a sweep in Washington by beating the Cougars 63-58 and then the Huskies 95-72. The Wildcats offense looks back on track following the 95 point outburst over the weekend with their big three dialed in as Azuolas Tubelis had 25, Oumar Ballo 21, and Kerr Kriisa 18.

The Oregon defense did a good job of shutting down the Wildcats’ top three scorers in the first meeting on January 14th, holding Tubelis to 14, Ballo 10, and Kriisa 9. The Ducks hit 53% of their shots in their highest scoring game of the season in the 87-68 victory.

The Ducks sweeping the season series is going to be a bit tougher on the road, as Arizona is 11-1 at home this season. The lone loss for the Wildcats (74-61 to Washington State) snapped a 28 game home win streak.

Oregon vs Arizona Prediction & Pick

This might just be a bad matchup for Arizona, as Oregon has surprisingly won 8 of the last 9 head to head meetings. It’s a random trend, but the Wildcats are also 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games and although Arizona likely gets the win here, -8.5 may be on the high side.

Pick: Oregon +8.5
