Injuries Haunt Seattle

Several players are trying to get ready to play this match, but so far, there isn’t any official confirmation about their health. The only known thing is that CB Shaquill Griffin won’t appear against the 49ers.

When it comes to doubtful and questionable, the most prominent names on the list are RBs Carlos Hyde and Chris Carson, S Jamal Adams, and DE Benson Mayowa. Losing both of his rushers would be devastating for Pete Carroll, and that is something that changes the entire gameplan for the hosts.

They are lucky to have a dynamic duo Wilson-Metcalf, as these two became a nightmare for all other defenses. Now Wilson was like that even before, but Metcalf is the new dog on the block, and his performances have been stunning. He posted 519 receiving yards for six TDs since the start of the year, while Wilson already threw 22 TD passes with six interceptions with the season not even reaching the middle.

Let’s See Garoppolo

As we said, Russell Wilson has 22 TDs and six interceptions. Jimmy Garoppolo has seven touchdowns and four interceptions right now. Yeah, he didn’t play as much as Wilson due to injuries, but anyway, this is disgraceful productivity for the NFC champion.

Garoppolo showed a glimpse of his potential against the LA Rams in a 24-16 victory, throwing three passes for a TD in the first halftime. After that, Jimmy G had a subpar performance against the New England Patriots, once posting two interceptions. The 49ers won that game, 33-6, but it is still interesting how he managed to yield such a poor statistic.

It seems that the majority of important players apart from Deebo Samuel, and of course, Nick Bosa, will not be ready for this match.

Head to Head Matches

As divisional rivals, San Francisco and Seattle meet often. Last year’s series saw one win apiece for both sides, but they both came on the road. Seattle was better in San Francisco, 27-24, and the 49ers got even in the latter contest, 26-21.

Prediction

Even though Seattle has numerous problems with injured players, they are looking better than the 49ers, whose defense is carrying the team over the last two weeks. We believe that the Seahawks’ offense will find a way to breach it, mostly due to fantastic Wilson, who has been magnificent since the start of the campaign.

Odds on Seattle’s victory have been set at -150, and for those who are willing to take more risk, bet on the hosts’ win with the -3-point spread.
