Hawks to Show Their Strength

Atlanta missed a perfect chance to reach the conference finals and stun the entire NBA community. We are more than sure that at least 60% of the fans didn’t even see the Hawks in the playoffs. But here they are, still in the game, having solid chances to eliminate the 76ers.

Unlike the previous games, Philadelphia survived all the clutch moments, and the Hawks weren’t at the needed level in the finish, which is, in fact, the main reason why they lost Game 6.

Also, the Hawks made just ten threes in 31 attempts, and that is terrible for Young, Bogi, and the crew. Bogdanovic left the game in the fourth due to knee issues and didn’t come back. He shot 1-for-6 from beyond the arc until that point, which was felt in the Hawks’ game.

Embiid Preparing the Terrain for Game 7

Immediately after Game 6, Joel Embiid began whining and complaining about the foul criteria, suggesting that he wasn’t happy with the way officials made decisions in the finish, despite his team scoring the final six points from the free-throw line. Now, we find this especially annoying, especially coming from Embiid’s side, as he usually has at least 12 or 13 shots from the line per game.

But there is one catch here. Embiid is already preparing the terrain for Game 7, where we expect to see him leading the 76ers’ offense. The past few matches were mostly under when it comes to total points. Low-scoring and a bit tougher defense aren’t suitable for Philly, who struggles in such situations, so Embiid put some pressure on the refs already.

Interestingly, the 76ers had a higher percentage from the line, 16-for-23, 69.6% compared to Atlanta’s 13-for-24, 54.2%.

Hawks vs. 76ers Head to Head Matches

We are only going to tell you that the recent three games all ended Under. They were all far under 220 points.

Hawks vs. 76ers Prediction and Pick

The bookies saw the trend, and that is why they lowered the line for points. Right now is 217.5, and for us, this is another Under. We don’t think that Embiid’s tactics will have some influence on the officials, otherwise, the league would compromise its own reputation. Also, this is Game 7, with enormous stakes on the line. The teams are going to be fired up and aggressive as much as possible, so we will once again go with Under.
