Before Betting On Man United vs Everton

It will be an exciting fixture in the FA Cup to get things underway in the third round, as Manchester United will be looking to maintain their charge on all four fronts. The Red Devils have resumed the season in excellent fashion, as they have won their previous three since the season resumed after the World Cup. Confidence is certainly growing at Old Trafford that Erik ten Hag is building something special at the Theatre of Dreams.

United come into the fixture after a comprehensive 3-0 win in the Premier League against Bournemouth last time out. Once again, Marcus Rashford was among the scorers in that victory, while other goals were added by Casemiro and Luke Shaw. United have an excellent record in the third round, as they have been eliminated just twice in the previous 37.

Frank Lampard has a fine record against United in the FA Cup, as he has won three times and drawn once in four previous meetings as player or coach. However, Everton has a poor record away from home against the Red Devils, as they have won just once in their previous 29 visits to the Theatre of Dreams.

It could be argued that the Toffees have bigger fish to fry this season, as their Premier League status is under increasing threat. Lampard’s position at the club also looks to be under intense pressure, as Everton were thumped in midweek by Brighton & Hove Albion. The Toffees conceded three in six second half minutes of that clash at Goodison, and at the very least, Lampard will be hoping for a reaction from his side.
