Two of the biggest teams in the Premier League will lock horns this weekend. Liverpool could move up to fifth with a victory this weekend, while Spurs will be looking to end a three-match run without a success.

Before Betting On Liverpool vs Tottenham

Liverpool could yet mount a challenge to finish in a Champions League place this season, as they sit just seven points off Man United. However, they have played a game more than their rivals. The Reds have certainly appeared to turn a corner in recent weeks, as they come into this fixture having gone five without a defeat, while they have landed three victories in succession.

Liverpool were slightly fortunate in midweek, as they survived a late penalty scare to hold on to a 2-1 win against West Ham. The Reds have an excellent record in this fixture, as they have lost just one of their previous 20 league matches against Tottenham. They also come into this fixture having gone ten successive games without a loss against Spurs.

Tottenham were much better in midweek, as they battled back from 2-0 down to secure a 2-2 draw against Man United. That was Ryan Mason’s first match in charge of the team, and he would have been pleased with his side’s commitment to fight back. However, the North London side has a poor record against from home against Liverpool, as they have landed just two wins in 35 visits.

Despite picking up a draw in midweek, Tottenham are still winless in their last five league matches away from home. Over that period, they have suffered three defeats. Their current winless streak on the road is their longest in the Premier League since the end of 2019.
