Liverpool will be looking to strengthen their hold on fifth in the Premier League standings on Tuesday, as they welcome Fulham to Anfield. The visitors will be looking to get back on track after losing each of their previous two.

Before Betting On Liverpool vs Fulham

Liverpool will be back in Premier League action on Wednesday, as they look to keep alive their slim hopes of a Champions League finish. The Reds currently sit seven points behind Man United, while they have also played a game more. However, a fifth-place finish remains their key goal over the closing weeks, as they bid to secure a spot in the Europa League.

Liverpool has won each of their previous four matches in the league, with the latest of those coming in dramatic fashion by a 4-3 scoreline against Tottenham Hotspur. The Reds have excelled in midweek fixtures throughout the past couple of years, as they have won 14 of their previous 16. Over that period, they have recorded wins in all seven that they have played at Anfield.

It could be argued that Fulham’s target for the 2022-23 season has already been achieved, as their Premier League status has already been assured. The Cottagers sit tenth in the overall standings, but they could move with two points of Brentford with a victory on Wednesday.

Fulham come into this fixture having lost each of their last two in the Premier League, while they have also lost four of their previous six. Since the World Cup, Fulham have kept four clean sheets from nine matches on the road. However, they have lost three of their last four away from Craven Cottage, and have conceded at least once in each of their previous five.

Liverpool will be heavily favored in the betting to maintain their winning sequence at Anfield on Wednesday. However, the Reds are winless from two of their previous three against Fulham. But, we expect that trend to be overcome at Anfield this week.
