With all of Utah’s offseason moves that included trading away Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, it’s not a surprise to see the November 25th meeting with the defending NBA Champion Warriors a matchup of one team currently in the top four of the West and the other outside of the top 10. The shocker is though that it’s Utah near the top of the conference at 12-8 while Golden State is struggling coming into the Jazz vs Warriors matchup at 9-10.

Before Betting on Jazz vs Warriors

Friday night’s tilt is a prove it game for the Jazz, as many people believe their strong start to the season is just smoke and mirrors after trading away a couple of All-Stars. We also could be starting to see the downfall of Utah who has lost five of their last seven including a 125-116 home defeat to Detroit as -11.5 favorites on Wednesday night.

The hard part about this game is that Golden State underachieves pretty much any chance they get. That being said they’ve won three of their last four, and the only loss during that span was 128-83 to New Orleans but on a road back-to-back where Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green all sat.

The Warriors are just 9-10 this season, but most of that poor record is due to a 1-9 mark on the road. Golden State is 8-1 at the Chase Center in 2022/23 and with the Jazz losing three of their last four away from Salt Lake City an upset doesn’t look likely here.

Jazz vs Warriors Prediction & Pick

Golden State got spanked in New Orleans on Monday, but nobody played on the back to back. The Warriors bounced back nicely with a 124-017 victory over the Clippers on Wednesday and with Utah starting to slip into a slump another double-digit victory looks likely for GSW.
Pick: Warriors -7.5
