Novak Djokovic and Tommy Paul are in the Australian Open semis. For many, this is just another step for Djokovic toward his title. But will it be like that?

Before betting on Djokovic vs. Paul

Novak was ruthless against Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals, beating the Russian in straight sets and allowing him seven games. In short, he was magnificent, rolling over one of the best players on the tour right now.

It’s no secret to see Djokovic having a masterful return, but we witnessed on several occasions a second serve that reached 190 km/h, which wasn’t characteristic for him in the past. Novak’s hamstring injury is apparently healing well, and during the previous two events, we saw him at the highest possible level. In fact, that issue was his biggest rival up until this point in Melbourne.

On the other side, we have Tommy Paul, a very decent tennis player who made his rise in the past year and more. The American didn’t have notable opponents in his part of the draw, who was, truth be told, the easiest of all.

Yet Paul overcame all his obstacles and cruised into the semis, which is his biggest success so far. He doesn’t have any particular weapon but is simply solid in all aspects of play.
