On Friday night – the USC Trojans and Ohio State Buckeyes will square off in the Cotton Bowl. AT+T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys is the host of the big game. The USC Trojans come into the game with an 11-2 record on the season, and they are the Pac-12 Champions. The Trojans beat the Stanford Cardinal in the Pac-12 title game.

The Ohio State Buckeyes come into the game with an 11-2 record on the season. Ohio State went to Indianapolis and beat the Wisconsin Badgers in the Big Ten title game. Ohio State’s two losses this season came to the Oklahoma Sooners and Iowa Hawkeyes.  The Ohio State Buckeyes are -7.5 over the USC Trojans in this Cotton Bowl game in Dallas on Friday night.

Buckeyes Looking to Solidify Name

The Ohio State Buckeyes felt they had a good enough resume to get into the College Football playoff. They were left off, and now they have business to take care of. The Buckeyes have won four straight games since their road loss at Iowa on November 4th. The Buckeyes have scored 158 total points in those four games, and allowed just 58.

J.T. Barrett is the leader of the offense for the Buckeyes. The quarterback threw for 211 yards in the win over Wisconsin. On the season, the Buckeyes quarterback is just shy of 3,000 passing yards and threw for 35 touchdowns on the season. Ohio State finished the regular season as the 6th highest scoring team in all of College Football with more than 42 points per game.

Darnold Looking to Finish with a Bang

Quarterback Sam Darnold is looking to finish the season with a bang before he heads to the National Football League. The quarterback has been up and down this season, but is said to be one of the top prospects in the NFL draft. The quarterback tossed for more than 3,700 yards on the season, and 26 touchdowns.

The Trojans running back Ronald Jones III rushed the football for 1,486 yards and 18 touchdowns on the season. USC ranked 18th in passing yards with nearly 300 yards per game, and rushed for 194.9 per game. USC also finished in the top 30 in offense, as they scored more than 34 points per game.

Trojans Top Buckeyes

The USC Trojans feel they have a lot to prove, especially against an Ohio State team that everyone is saying is going to rock them. USC has just as a good of a resume as the Buckeyes. The Trojans are a passing team that is tough to defend, and Ohio State’s defense is simply not good enough to slow them down.
