There will be a massive game at Stamford Bridge this weekend, as Graham Potter looks for a response from his Chelsea side as his job hangs in the balance. Leeds United are the visitors to London, as the Whites look for a second straight league victory to edge clear of the relegation places.

Before Betting On Chelsea vs Leeds

This could be the biggest game of Graham Potter’s managerial career on Saturday, as the Blues could face no other option except for to relieve the former Brighton boss of his duties if they are beaten this weekend. Chelsea has failed to win in their previous five league matches, and they come into this fixture having suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.

The latest of those losses was suffered away from home against Tottenham Hotspur, and the Blues were hapless throughout that match before losing 2-0. However, the Blues have a great record against Leeds at Stamford Bridge, as they have won each of the previous five meetings. But, their record of just two victories in 15 fixtures means that Chelsea are by no means banker material this weekend.

Javi Gracia got off to a perfect start at Leeds last weekend, as the Whites picked up a 1-0 home win against Southampton. That result means that Leeds remain outside of the bottom three places in the standings, but they will need to put together a run of victories before their position in the league is assured.

Leeds ran out 3-0 winners in the previous meeting between the sides this season, and they will be looking for a first league double over the Blues since the 1991-92 season. However, no Premier League team has picked up fewer away wins or points than the Whites this term, with their only away success coming at Liverpool in October.

The odds will have Chelsea as the clear favorites in the betting this weekend. However, it’s very hard to side with the Blues given the form that they have been in over recent weeks. Therefore, we will be siding with a Leeds win on the (+1) spread market on Saturday.
