The Champions League reached semifinals, and we are about to witness two big clashes on Tuesday and Wednesday. The first contest is between Red Bull Leipzig and PSG, while the second features Bayern Munich and Lyon.

Red Bull Leipzig vs. PSG Preview and Prediction

The German side was pretty firm against Atletico Madrid who is one of the toughest teams in Europe. In those 90 minutes, we saw the Bulls running over the Madridians and beating the hell out of Simeone’s boys. For the first time in the last few years, Atletico was outmuscled on the field.

But not just that, the Bulls were playing excellent throughout the entire competition. They would reach the knockout stage from the group with Zenit,Benfica and Lyon, after that smash Tottenham, and now eliminate Atletico Madrid.

Paris Saint Germain had an enormous amount of luck against Atalanta. The Saints were on the brink of the elimination, but after Mbappe’s entrance on the field, things changed in their favor. Two late goals saved them, bringing them one step away from the biggest game in their history.

We need to say, that Tuchel had a lot of problems with injuries and suspensions before Atalanta. Yet now, they are going to have Di Maria back, probably Veratti and for sure Mbappe, which completely changes the landscape of their game.

A high-scoring affair is guaranteed here, as both crews like to play open and offensive football. We believe that betting on both sides to score and over 3.5 goals would be an excellent decision, with the odds set at +175. Do remember the previous matches these two sides had until reaching this stage.

Lyon vs. Bayern Munich Preview and Prediction

The French side is the biggest sensation of the current Champions League competition. At first, they eliminated Juventus, and after that, the biggest favorite for winning the trophy, Manchester City. Unlike Atalanta, who defended once gaining the lead, Lyon decided to be careful, but as soon as they conceded a goal, Rudy Garcia’s side became more aggressive, and they attacked. In the end, that paid off.

Bayern demolished Barcelona, inflicting the five-time European champions one of their most painful defeats ever, and the highest on the international stage. It was a demonstration of power and the message for all other teams that they need to be aware of their abilities. They are by far the most dominant team in the Champions League this year, when looking at the results, and Lewandowski is on the pace to set the records in various categories even though the competition will lack a few games.

So, the logical thing here is to bet on Bayern’s massive win. With all due respect towards Lyon, we can’t see them repeating the sensation from the previous rounds, not against Bayern in this state. The Germans to win with -2.5 goal is the pick, with the odds at +170. Once they scored eight against Barcelona, why would they pack at least three against Lyon?
