Liverpool are on the brink of the next round of the Champions League, as they have picked up maximum points from the three games that they have played. Atletico Madrid will be looking for revenge on the Premier League giants on Wednesday, after losing to the Reds in their last outing in the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been faultless in the competition to this point, as they have scored eleven goals in the three games that they have played. However, they did need to ride their luck in their last game against Atletico.

The Reds started the game in rapid fashion, scoring twice in the first 13 minutes through Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita. However, Atletico got back into the game through an Antoine Griezmann double. The French World Cup winner was controversially sent off early in the second period, before Liverpool scored their third from the spot.

Another Liverpool win looks to be the best play in this fixture, as Atletico’s defense has been vulnerable in both the Champions League and La Liga to this point.

PSG are on the verge of reaching the next round of the Champions League, as they come up against RB Leipzig for the second time in a couple of weeks. Leipzig are the only side in Group A that are yet to register a win in the competition this season, as they sit bottom after three rounds of fixtures.

PSG survived a bit of a shock in their last Champions League fixture, as they came back from behind to beat Leipzig 3-2 in Paris. Lionel Messi was once again the man to hit the headlines, as he scored twice in the final half an hour. Kylian Mbappe had given the French giants an early lead in that game, but goals from Andre Silva and Nordi Mukiele ensured that Leipzig had a route back into the game.

The German giants would be slightly disappointed with their performances in the Champions League this season, and they look set to struggle to reach the next round. They are bottom, having failed to pick up a single point and have conceded eleven goals.

It will be fascinating finish to Group A, as PSG and Manchester City battle for top spot. However, a win for PSG in this match on Wednesday night looks to be the best bet, as they take the fight with City to the last two rounds of fixtures.
