Both Brighton and Arsenal won their games last Monday and now seek another success on New Year’s Eve.

Before Betting on Brighton vs. Arsenal

The Seagulls have been one of the most positive surprises this year. Despite losing the manager, Graham Potter, who is off to Chelsea, Brighton kept on performing well, which is why they sit seventh in the EPL standings.

They beat Southampton at St. Mary’s in the most recent event, 1-3, displaying a commanding display. We noticed that Brighton allowed at least one goal at home in four of the previous five events, which is an interesting trend.

Arsenal managed to rally against West Ham on Monday and win 2-1, despite being down at the half. Not having Gabriel Jesus is a problem for Mikel Arteta, and we wrote about that already, but the Gunners looked fine without him against the Hammers.

The past six road games Arsenal played all ended with under 2.5 goals. Arteta demands a possession game, and controls the tempo while keeping the ball in their feet. Not to forget, Arsenal has six wins, one draw and one loss away from Emirates.

We don’t think that there will be too many goals in this event, particularly due to Arsenal’s style of play. Betting on the full-time result is not our intention here, instead, we are focusing on efficiency. Our suggestion would be under 2.5 goals.
