Boilermakers Red Hot

Matt Painter and his Purdue Boilermakers started the season 4-3 after losing back to back games to Tennessee and Western Kentucky. Since the loss to the Hilltoppers, they have won 19 straight games.  The latest win for Purdue was on the road at Rutgers, where they won by 2. The Boilermakers are in search of their third Final Four appearance in school history.

Ohio State Looking to Keep it Up

The Ohio State Buckeyes have been one of the biggest surprises in all of College Basketball this season. The Buckeyes took non conference losses to Gonzaga, Butler, Clemson and North Carolina. Ohio State during Big Ten play has just one loss and that came at home to the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The Buckeyes are led in scoring by Keita Bates-Diop. The former Illinois High School prep star is scoring 20.2 points per game, and ripping down nearly 9 rebounds per game. Jae’Sean Tate is scoring 12.8 points per game, along with C.J. Jackson. The Buckeyes are scoring 77.5 points per game, and allowing just over 66 per game.

Purdue Looks to Keep Edge at Home

This should be a great basketball game. These two teams have been the top two teams in the league all during Big Ten play. Michigan State feels they could be a team that could take down the conference title as well. The home court of Purdue is going to be quite an advantage in this game. Purdue with their big men should be able to get the ball in the paint. Ohio State will want to make it a faster tempo game and get the ball up and down the court. When you are betting this game – take the Purdue Boilermakers -9.5 over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Wednesday. Bet the Purdue Boilermakers -5.5 over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Wednesday.
