The Bengals and Bills were supposed to meet on Monday Night Football in week 17, but Buffalo’s Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest about 9 minutes into the game and the rest of the night was cancelled for obvious reasons. Hamlin is on the mend and now Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow meets Buffalo’s Josh Allen for the first official time in a battle of two of the league’s best young quarterbacks.

Before Betting on Bengals vs Bills

Cincinnati comes into the AFC Divisional round off a 24-17 win over Baltimore last week, a closer game than many expected as the Ravens were without QB Lamar Jackson. Baltimore also has a solid defense though, so it’s understandable how the Bengals had just 234 total yards in that contest.

Buffalo also had a nail biter against a divisional opponent missing their starting QB last week, topping Miami 34-31 behind 352 yards and 3 TDs from Allen – who also tossed 2 INTs. Cincinnati ranked 23rd vs. the pass this season, so expect Allen to have another big day through the air. Buffalo’s pass defense ranked 15th in the NFL during the regular season.

The Bills have won 8 in a row coming into Sunday afternoon’s tilt while the Bengals have rattled off 9 straight wins. This one looks like it has all the makings of an instant classic.

Bengals vs Bills Prediction & Pick

It’s hard to see this game not coming down to a field goal, or at least one massive critical mistake late in the game. Both QBs should have effectiveness moving the ball through the air, and although Buffalo has better numbers in the run game, on defense – and is at home – this one just feels tighter than 5.5 points.
