Arizona (22-3) continues to be neck and neck with UCLA in the Pac-12, setting up a collision course for the regular season finale at Pauley Pavilion. The Wildcats need to keep taking care of business before that – which they’ve done on a current 7-game win streak. Stanford (10-14) had put things together with a five game win streak, but they’ve since dropped their last two.

Before Betting on Arizona vs Stanford

Stanford looks outmatched on Saturday night, even at home. Arizona has a top 10 scoring offense in the nation at 83.4 ppg, but they’ve also been playing better defense lately holding four of their last six opponents to 62 points or less.

The Cardinal will also likely get stifled by the Arizona defense, as Stanford is just 79th in the country in offensive efficiency. Spencer Jones (13.5 ppg) is the only Cardinal player that averages in double figures in scoring while Arizona has five players that put up 10+ points/game.

Arizona is ‘only’ a -8.5 favorite on Saturday, a number that seems low considering the Wildcats were giving Cal -18.5 on Thursday and cruised to an 85-62 victory. Azuolas Tubelis led the way with 23 points as he continues to pad his Player of the Year resume, going for 40 last week against Oregon as well.

Arizona vs Stanford Prediction & Pick

The line being only Arizona -8.5 is interesting but the Wildcats seem to be the play here. Tubelis is playing arguably the best basketball in the country right now and Stanford simply doesn’t have enough talent to match.

Pick: Arizona -8.5
