NBA Showdown: Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers

In the National Basketball Association – two of the oldest, proudest franchises will get together at the Staples Center. The Chicago Bulls visit the Los Angeles Lakers. The Chicago Bulls have the second worst record in the Eastern Conference, at 3-11. The Bulls are coming off a loss to the Phoenix Suns, and have dropped 8 out of their last 10 games.

For the Los Angeles Lakers – they are 7-10 on the season and are coming off a win over the Denver Nuggets where they scored 127 points. The Lakers are in the Pacific Division, where they are in second place, trailing the Golden State Warriors by 6 games.  The Los Angeles Lakers are -5.5 at MyBookie in this National Basketball Association affair on Tuesday.

Ball With Two Triple Doubles in 17 Games

Lonzo Ball is one of the most talked about players in all of the National Basketball Association. Ball had his second triple double of his career in the win over the Nuggets. The guard is scoring 8.9 points per game, and dishing out 7 assists, and ripping down 7 rebounds per game. The Lakers top scorer has been rookie power forward Kyle Kuzma, with 16.5 points per game.

The Lakers are led by head coach Luke Walton. The Lakers are one of the youngest teams in all of the league. Los Angeles is looking to get to the postseason out of the West this season after winning just 43 games over the past two regular seasons.

Bulls Struggle on the Road

The Chicago Bulls struggle on the road, at 1-7, but struggle every where with 3 wins in 14 games. The Bulls beat the Hornets, which snapped their five game losing streak. The other wins for Chicago came against the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic. Chicago is in last place in the Central Division, 4.5 games behind fourth place Milwaukee and Indiana.

The Bulls top scorer this season has been rookie Lauri Markkanen. The power forward is scoring more than 15 points per game. Jerian Grant has got the lions share of work at point guard as of late, with nearly 6 assists per game. Chicago is 29th out of 30 teams in the league in scoring. The Bulls are scoring just 95.5 points per game, and allowing 105 per game.

Lakers Down Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers are an up and coming team out of the Western Conference. The current Chicago Bulls roster does not have them as an up and coming team in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls are just putting a team together, and Fred Hoiberg is the sacrificial lamb. This is going to go to the home team.
